EDM 510 Week 4 Video Creation

This week I chose to create a video to introduce myself to students, families, and faculty. I have some experience with creating videos with the Wirecast software. I facilitate our student news club at my elementary school. We call it the "Tiger News Network". This video was a challenge, because I'm normally not the person in front of the camera, the students are. Watching the "Tips for Shooting" video by Dr. Gaston, was a real eye opener. I was not aware of the "Rule of Thirds" or the different shot types. I will share this information with our student news team, once we start recording again. I partnered with one of my fifth grade student news members, Jadan, to record me (She received her video credit in the video). I used a different program to embed images in my video. I often use Adobe.Spark to create flyers for our school. I created the EDM intro slide and the credit slide using Adobe.Spark. I've never embedded my created images from Adobe.Spark before. I honestly don't believe I would do anything different, if I could. This video was fun and entertaining to create. That's why I chose "The Entertainer" music as an intro and outro to my video creation.
