This week I used Screencast-o-matic. This software allows the recording of audio and it will
record what is displayed on your screen. It will also take a screenshot of the screen. Screencast-o-matic can be used in the professional setting to create quick how-to-videos. There are several new programs our school district is using this year. I used Google, the Screencast-o-matic program, and the Clever website to create this product. Screencast-o-matic is a great tool to use when supplying information to staff during our virtual meetings. Or, I can even send a video out as a content refresher. Here is my "How to Access Clever" screencast link below.
I've never used this program before, but it looks interesting. Your explanations are clear and concise. This kind of thing would be great for teaching because it allows students to watch and rewatch the material to get a better understanding. I sometimes need to see, hear, and then do things to fully grasp them, so this would be a big help to others like that. For meetings this looks awesome. We just use boring old zoom for ours.
I have never used Screencast-o-matic but you made it look easy. You video was easy to follow and is something that the students need. I find that they often forget how to log into things at the beginning of the year. This would be great tool for them to have.
